| Description |
English: The view from the Eastern head of the Knysna lagoon has been called breathtaking, the Provincial Heritage site of South Africa agreed and officially added the Eastern Head to its list of national heritage sites in the Western Cape. The area of land encompassing this site is 4269 squares metres in length. It not only functions as a look out point, but it is the site of luxurious homes and guesthouses in abundance. At the foot of the Eastern Head, there are restaurants and more recently a 24 hour camera, which can be accessed online for a real time view of the lagoon without leaving the comfort of your own home.
