Description
English: Cropped image of a kodachi sword known as "Hachiya Nagamitsu". The description says: It was forged by Nagamitsu in the Kamakura period (13th century). Gift of Mr. Watanabe Seiichiro. This is an important cultural property of Japan. The blade is unusually short for works by Nagamitsu, a swordsmith of the Osafune school in what is now eastern Okayama prefecture. 日本語: 「小太刀 長光」(13世紀)
