English: Photograph showing folios 2 verso and 3 recto of the British Library's 18th-century manuscript Persian–Laki glossary made for Sir John Malcolm. (Shelf mark: Add MS 26319, http://searcharchives.bl.uk/IAMS_VU2:IAMS040-003393493, ff. 1v–4r) A glossary of common words in Laki Kurdish with equivalents in Persian, written in nasta'liq script. According to the preamble, the glossary was the work of Muhammad Husain Khan, done for Sir John Malcolm and dated 12 April 1811 at Bushehr (Bushire). This manuscript codex (Shelf mark: Add MS 26319, http://searcharchives.bl.uk/IAMS_VU2:IAMS032-003393492) was bought from Claudius James Erskine in February 1865, and besides other texts, contains an Ardalani Kurdish–Persian glossary (ff. 5v–7r) and a Kurdish–English glossary (ff. 9r–10r).
