La tombe de Louise de Vilmorin (1902-1969), femme de lettres, est sous un banc de pierre, près d'un cerisier dans l'arboretum Vilmorin à Verrières-le-Buisson Sur le banc, et selon sa volonté, ont été gravés un trèfle à quatre feuilles symbolisant ses quatre frères avec pour tige un L pour Louise (on trouve ce dessin sur plusieurs de ses lettres) et sa devise "Au secours". Elle voulait que "des enfants viennent rire et manger des cerises" sur ce banc près de sa tombe. Louise de Vilmorin (1902-1969) a terminé sa vie dans le château de Verrières-le-Buisson avec André Malraux, son amour de jeunesse qui est venu y habiter l'été 1969. Après la mort brutale de Louise de Vilmorin le 26 décembre 1969, André Malraux a continué à habiter le château, jusqu'à sa propre mort en 1976, avec la nièce de Louise : Sophie de Vilmorin (1931-2009) d'abord secrétaire de l'écrivain, puis ensuite compagne. Habituellement réservé aux spécialistes car il s'agit d'un espace privé, l'arboretum de Vilmorin a été ouvert au public (en visite de groupe) lors des journées du patrimoine 2018.
