Deutsch: Südostansicht der Burg Strechau in der steirischen Gemeinde Lassing und unmittelbar an der Gemeindegrenze von Rottenmann.
Urkundlich erstmals 1074 genannt wurde die teils romanische, teils gotische Wehranlage unter dem Geschlecht der Hoffmann, Führer der steirischen protestantischen Stände, in der Mitte des 16. Jahrhunderts zu einem Renaissanceschloss umgebaut. Im Zuge der Gegenreformation übernimmt das Stift Admont 1629 die umfangreichen Besitzungen und Rechte, die mit der Burg verbunden waren und errichtete große Speicher, Stallungen und Verwaltungsgebäude. Ab 1892 hatte die Burg verschiedene Eigentümer und ist aktuell im Besitz der Boesch-Privatstiftung, die seit 2006 die Burg der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich machte: [1].
