Deutsch: Die thailändische Sala im Westteil des Parks ist ein Geschenk eines deutschen Geschäftsmannes aus Bangkok. Diese Sala war der erste öffentliche buddhistische Tempel auf deutschem Boden.
Der Westpark in München ist eine Park- und Gartenanlage im Stadtteil Sendling. Sie wurde für die Internationale Gartenbauausstellung (IGA) 1983 angelegt und ist heute eines der beliebtesten Naherholungsgebiete der Münchener Stadtbevölkerung.
English: The Thai sala in the western part of the park is a gift of a German businessman from Bangkok. This was the first public Buddhist shrine in Germany.
The Westpark in Munich is a park and garden in the district Sendling and was created for the International Garden Festival in 1983, and today it is one of the most popular recreation areas of Munich’s city population.
