Altes Rathaus in München am Marienplatz. Das Rathaus ist ein Nachfolgebau des in der Nähe gestandenen ersten Rathauses von 1310. Es wurde, nachdem das erste Rathaus abgebrannt war zwischen 1470 und 1480 vom Dombaumeister Jörg von Halsbach (Ganghofer) erbaut. Der Turm des Gebäudes wurde 1945 niedergelegt, da er bei einem Bombenangriff stark zerstört wurde und einzustürzen drohte. Von 1971 bis 1974 wurde er wie das gotische Original von 1493 von Erwin Schleich rekonstruiert. München ist die Landeshauptstadt des Freistaates Bayern und wurde 1158 gegründet. Sie liegt an der Isar, hat ca. 1,3 Millionen Einwohner und gehört zu Oberbayern. |
