Español: Manuel Blanco Romasanta fue El Hombre Lobo de Allariz, confeso autor de nueve muertes en la provincia de Ourense, (España) en la primera mitad del Siglo XIX. Blanco Romasanta fue calificado como uno de los más casos claros de licantropía, y condenado, primero a morir en garrote vil, aunque luego indultado a cadena perpetua por la entonces Reina de España, Isabel II. Su historia dio origen a numerosas leyendas, como la de O Home do Unto (El Hombre del Sebo) y O Sacamanteigas (El Sacamantecas), y en ella se inspiraron novelas como El Bosque de Ancines (Martínez Barbeito) y películas como El Bosque del Lobo (Pedro Olea) y, más recientemente, Romasanta, la caza de la bestia (Paco Plaza).
