Dall'ultimo volume della Guida d'Italia, dedicato a Isole Egee, Tripolitania, Cirenaica, Eritrea e Somalia, riproduciamo le mappe delle due principali città eritree: Massaua, porto sul mar Rosso, e Asmara, città sull'altopiano eritreo, unite da una ardita ferrovia a scartamento ridotto, di costruzione italiana, celebre in quanto ancor oggi in esercizio.
