In the description for 1012927 it says it is also listed grade II and the description for 1253491 says it is also scheduled. There are a number of these around England and these are being looked at over time to see which single protection would be best and more fitting under the planning process.

From 1878 until 1946 there was only one way to protect an historic site, building or monument which was scheduling. By 1946 it was realised that a better form of protection was needed for the built environment and listing was the title given to it. There is overlap in this as houses, crosses, memorials, bridges etc might have already been scheduled but were listed as well.
