English: Monks Lion bath at Mihintale at Lion Pond This is called Sinha Pokuna in Sinhala. It is situated opposite the Kantakacétiya. Lion bath is an intricately carved standing lion stone face with water flowing from lion’s mouth. This pond is dated 7th century CE
