Summary

Description
English: Monksthorpe Baptist Chapel. Grade II* listed baptist chapel in the hamlet of Monksthorpe, built in 1701, shortly after the Toleration Act of 1689. It was used regularly as a place of worship until declared redundant in the 1970s and fell into disrepair. It was restored by the East Midlands Baptist Association and placed in the care of the National Trust in 2001 http://www.monksthorpe.org.uk/
