Summary

Description
English: Grand Mesa, the largest in the world, is exposed edge-wise at I-70 in Utah and Colorado. The edge itself is known as the Book Cliffs. I do know that the slopes are Mancos Shale, and at the caprock is Mesa Verde formation, both of Cretaceous age. This particular corner is a cuesta called Mount Garfield. Its peak is roughly 39° 07' 30"N 108° 24' 39"W. This is Mount Garfield, east of Grand Junction, Colorado.
