Tagalog: Naitatag nang magtipon ang humigit-kumulang 300 Samahang Pangkababaihan sa Bansa sa Manila Hotel, 5 Pebrero 1921. Naitala bilang isang korporasyon, 21 Setyembre 1921. Kabilang sa mga unang opisyal nito ay sina Rosario M. Delgado bilang Pangulo, Josefa Llanes, at Maud Parker. Naging kasapi rin sina Geronima Pecson, Pilar Hidalgdo Lim, Trinidad Legarda, Pura Villanueva-Kalaw, Concepcion Felix Calderon, at Aurora Aragon Quezon, na siya ring naging Pangulong Pandangal, 1931-1941. Pinangunahan ang mga Gawaing Sibiko at pangkawanggawa para sa Kapakanan ng Sangkababaihan ng Pilipinas. Isa sa mga nagsulong sa Civil Service Board, na ngayo’y Civil Service Commission, na bigyan ng Maternity Leave ang mga ina na kawani ng pamahalaan. Humiling sa Pamahalaang lumikha ng Women’s Bureau para sa mga usaping pangkababaihan. Ang kanilang ipinaglaban at pagsusumikap na magkapantay-pantay ang bawat Pilipino ay patuloy na tinatamasa ng Kababaihang Pilipino hanggang sa kasalukuyan. |
