Summary

Description
English: U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Tom James, left, commander of the Joint Task Force-Space Defense, and U.S. Space Force Brig. Gen. Brian D. Sidari, right, the new intelligence director of U.S. Space Command, pose for a photo at Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado, Aug. 11, 2022. During his visit to the JTF-SD, Sidari received a mission brief and was indoctrinated on the organization’s mission. The JTF-SD’s mission is, in unified action with mission partners, to deter aggression, defend capabilities and defeat adversaries throughout the continuum of conflict in order to maintain space superiority in the USSPACECOM area of responsibility.
