Summary

Description
English: North Leigh Roman Villa Mosaic detail. The villa is near Fawler, whose Old English name, fāg flōr, means "variegated floor"; authorities including J. R. R. Tolkien have taken this to mean that the village was named for the presence of the mosaic floor.
