Description
English: Old Truman's brewery entrance, 91 Brick Lane Truman Hanbury Buxton & Co Ltd, Licensed Common Brewers. They were one of London's biggest breweries in the C19 and 20, until finally transferring to Burton and closing this Black Eagle brewery, which covered 6 acres, in 1989. There was a brewery here since 1669 and it was an important employer for the local population.
