This is a logo of an organization, item, or event, and is protected by copyright. The use of low-resolution images on the English-language Wikipedia, hosted on servers in the United States by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation, of logos for certain uses involving identification and critical commentary may qualify as non-free use under the Copyright law of the United States. Image source [1]. The Openmind Projects Logo was created by Thaweesilp Lunchaiyapha specifically as a promotional tool for OpenmindProjects and its associated volunteer placements. Thaweesilp Lunchaiyapha is a Co-Director of the OpenmindProjects NGO based in Thailand. As Thaweesilp Lunchaiyapha is the director of the company all works created for the duration of his contract are the property of OpenmindProjects. The OpenmindProjects logo is a trademark of OpenmindProjects. However, Thai laws do not demand copyright sourcing of trademarks. If the logo is used on its own it is asked that a link be made from the logo to the OpenmindProjects Website as a courtesy. However use of this logo meets Fair Use Laws in the US under internet usage. The work is sufficiently transformative as it is not in high resolution. The Logo has been reproduced in many forms over a period of years and is used in its current form as a link, a means of advertisement and a promotional tool on various websites. The use of the full logo on the OpenmindProjects Wikipedia page is reasonable and necessary to link the NGO name with the logo. The Logo does not have a market and is not property to be sold. However use of the logo on the Wikipedia page could potentially increase the exposure of the NGO. As a result of these terms the current use of the logo in its current form is within Fair Use guidelines.
