Description
English: The P-38 Lightning Pudgy static display, christened Pudgy, is lifted off its pedestal before being loaded onto a flatbed to be moved to a hangar on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., April 13, 2015. Pudgy (44-53015) has been on display at the base since 1981 and is a memorial to Medal of Honor recipient Maj. Thomas B. McGuire, after which the former McGuire Air Force Base was named.
