English: Post Office and Telegraph Station in a tent at Marree, South Australia, in 1884, before a building was constructed. The fine wire leading from the dark box on the post upwards to the peak of the tent is the connection to the Overland Telegraph Line. Writing on the back of the print states that the man on the left is Charles Arthur O'Brien.
