Description
English: Image taken from the bridge of RFA (Royal Fleet Auxiliary) Tidespring, during bad weather, 15 Nautical miles South of Plymouth in February 2018.

RFA Tidespring and her three sister ships are flexible, state-of-the-art vessels that will provide key support to the Queen Elizabeth aircraft carriers.

The 39,000-tonne tankers with a range of 8,000+ nautical miles can carry up to 19,000 cubic metres of fuel and 1,400 cubic metres of fresh water in support of Royal Navy operations all over the world.
