| Notes | "Erroneamente inventariato nel 1890 come opera di Isaac Campo e poi creduto ritratto di Marguerite-louise d'Orléans, è stato identificato da Silvia Meloni Trkulja come il ritratto della figlia di Paolo del Sera "da Giovane, con Capelli Biondi, assettatura alla moda, vezzo di perle, collare straforato, e abito fondo mavì ricamato con Collana di Perle che tiene con la destra un Arme di palle", come è descritto nell'eredità del Cardinal Leopoldo. Il nome di questa figlia, Isabella, sposa a un conte veneziano di cognome Amadio o Arnati, si ricava dal secondo testamento (21.IX.1672) del padre Paolo, mercante fiorentino a Venezia, per lunghi anni corrispondente del Cardinale e suo massimo procacciatore di opere d'arte (ASV, Cristoforo Brambilla, testamenti, Busta 167, n. 299: comunicato da Giovanni Nepi Scirè). L'autore del bellissimo dipinto no è specificato ed è stato supposto (Gli Uffizi, Catalogo Generale) potesse trattarsi di Jakob Ferdinand Voet, finchè un'attenta lettura, da parte di Miriam Fileti, delle lettere di Poalo del Sera ha portato alla scoperta che è opera di Sebastiano Bombelli, eseguita nella seconda metà del giugno 1671, inviata a Firenze l'11 luglio. Infatti benchè durante l'esecuzione del dipinto si parli solo di un ritratto di "donna" (VII, 694) la menzione di esso accanto al ritratto del fratello (pure presente nell'inventario dell'eredità di Leopoldo, inv. 1890 n. 2774) e la descrizione finale (VII, 705). Il ritratto fu portato nel 1680 a Pratolino e ricompare nel 1890 fra i ritratti del corridoio vasariano, dove da allora è sempre rimasto" Catalogo generale dei Beni Culturali | |||||||||||||||||||||||
