Summary

Description
English: This path along the north bank of the River Wear is for use by pedestrians and cyclists. It forms part of the C2C cycle route across northern England, from the Cumbrian coast to the North Sea. The C2C is part of the National Cycle Network. On the approach to Sunderland, cyclists are now greeted by this sight of the Northern Spire, which was completed in 2018.
