Description

A sculpture depicting common pastime of village boys, as popularly shown in Punjabi movies too. Playing with marbles, trying to knock them into the central hole, much like golf and other games.

The location is Rangla Punjab/Haveli on the GT Road near Lucky Dhaba and Mall in Jalandhar, Punjab.

I shot this and other photos, while an outing with relatives from Vapi and Vashi, when they visited Punjab re Ceremonial shaving of head of first child at Tape of Rajan Bhaiya and Diwali celebrations, relatives Jaipal ji, on a visit to Punjab when in Jalandhar.

Ashwani Kumar (father, on wheelchair) wanted to show them the typical rural Punjab feel, and so these "Dhabas".
