Other. The image is used for identification in the context of critical commentary of the work for which it serves as screenshot. It makes a significant contribution to the user's understanding of the article, which could not practically be conveyed by words alone. It is used to show several of the game's features as discussed in the article, such as illustrating the player's territory (the border of which is represented by red dots) at the start of a mission, with limited space and only a few buildings. It also shows how the player selects which buildings they wish to build (the window on the left). Finally, it shows various types of settlers; at the bottom of the screen, in the centre, settlers are constructing a building, and to the right are a small group of soldiers. The image highlights these gameplay aspects in a way the article text itself could not describe as intricately, and thus enhances the reader's understanding of the prose. Use for this purpose does not compete with the purposes of the original artwork, namely the creator providing graphic design services to relevant concerns and video game marketing to the public. |
