Summary

Description
English: Foster Home (also known as Sylvan Plantation or Cedar Hill) was built in 1825 as the centre of a large slave plantation in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. The house is nationally recognised by the US National Register of Historic Places as an excellent example of exploration/settlement architecture from the early 1800s in Western Alabama.
