Summary

Description
English: St Joseph's Cathedral, Swansea/Abertawe, Wales. This Roman Catholic cathedral was designed by Augustus Pugin and built as a parish church. It took two years to build at a cost of £10,000 and was opened in 1888. In 1987 it became a cathedral at the inauguration of the redefined Diocese of Menevia.
