Further, the copyright is over the design of the three-dimensional ring; only the two-dimensional picture is produced in Wikipedia or derivatives. Because the three-dimensional ring is the object of import, the use of the picture does not inhibit the copyright holders of their rights to use and earn revenue from the design of the ring.
