English: The Spirit's adventures were reprinted by Quality on a quarterly (later bi-monthly) basis between 1944 and 1950. Issue 21 (June 1950) marked the first appearance of Denny Colt's recurring nemesis/paramour P'Gell in comic book format, though the character had made her debut in newsprintstrip as early as October 1946.
