Janet Brown is seated second from left next to her mother Mary Brown (spotted blouse). Peter Brown jnr. is seated second from right and Edith and Ali Brown are on the grass in foreground.
Historical note: Peter Brown, a farmer from Mount Albert, purchased 136 acres (allotment 189-Parish of Takapuna)from Mrs Hammond in 1876.
