Description
English: The photo shows a rutted chalk track with wide grassy margins between open fields of ripe cereal crops. The trees in the distance are on Gore Hill where the A34 dual carriageway cuts across the route of the Ridgeway. The byway (and national trail) passes below the trunk road in a substantial tunnel.
