English: The church of SS Peter & Paul Bergh Apton's church is located on the edge of the sprawling village, the direction signs of which use different spellings (Bergh Apton, Burgh Apton and Berthapton). St Peter and St Paul has been extensively restored in the late 19th century and the furnishings > 1397721 - 1397723 date from this time but the church has retained its original font > 1397720 which its unusual carvings depicting angels and evangelistic symbols. The church has a very tall tower and a south and north transept and it contains several 19th century stained glass windows > 1397724 of good quality. St Peter and St Paul is open every day.
