Summary

Description
English: A tobacco manufacturing complex in Oxford, North Carolina, with buildings serving as contributing structures to the Oxford Historic District. On the right is a former prize house built between 1888 and 1892 by John Meadows and operated under various owners. On the left is a building built between 1909 and 1915. It was purchased by Imperial Tobacco Company in 1919 and used for redrying, packing, and storing tobacco before it was to be shipped. The complex was sold to W.A. Adams & Company in 1965.
