Deutsch: Der Ungeheuersee im Leininger Sporn, einem Teil des nordöstlichen Pfälzerwalds (Rheinland-Pfalz), ist ein flacher Hochmoorteich, der durch den Krumbach gespeist wird. Als Teil des einzigen Hochmoores in diesem Mittelgebirge steht der See seit den 1930er Jahren als Naturdenkmal unter Schutz. Der See ist von Mischwald umschlossen und zeichnet sich durch eine artenreiche Flora am Ufer und auf schwimmenden Inseln aus; beispielsweise werden Wollgräser, verschiedene Orchideenarten und der Rundblättrige Sonnentau, eine fleischfressende Pflanze, angetroffen. |
