Summary
| Description | Vancouver trolleybus 2351, a 1951 CCF-Brill T48A, laying over in Dunbar Loop (located at the southwest corner of 41st Avenue and Dunbar Street). This location was (and still is) the outer end of route 7-Dunbar (and #2351 is showing "Dunbar" on its side rollsign), but 2351's front rollsign was showing "9 Broadway to Ren.", because at the time of the photo it was scheduled to run in service along Dunbar Street only to Broadway, and to then make a trip eastbound on route 9-Broadway to Renfrew Loop. No. 2351 was still wearing the Greater Vancouver Transit System paint scheme adopted in 1973, of light grey with orange and yellow stripes, even though a similar livery with a brown stripe in place of the yellow one had superseded it in 1977. The last day of service for any Brill trolleybuses in Vancouver occurred less than three months later, on 25 March 1984. |
