Summary ==

Description
English: Warder's Lodge at Knypersley Reservoir, near to Brindley Ford, Stoke-on-Trent, Great Britain.

Alternatively known as Knypersley Tower and Warder's Tower, this is a gamekeeper's cottage in the form of a miniature castle of red sandstone built in 1828/9. It overlooks the eastern shore of Knypersley reservoir to the west and had a commanding position over the steep slope down to the Head of Trent leat to the east. The Harrison family lived in the Lodge in the 1830s and it was still occupied into the 20th century.

On English Heritage's Buildings at Risk Register, this romantic Grade II* listed building is subject of an appeal by the Landmark Trust launched on 4th July 2008, see <a title="http://www.landmarktrust.org.uk/news/WardersTower.htm" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.landmarktrust.org.uk/news/WardersTower.htm"> for more information. The Landmark Trust is a charitable organisation who restore at risk historical buildings and let them as holiday accommodation.
