Summary[edit]

The Main Street Bridge in Welland over the second Welland Canal, 1870, looking approximately east. A few of the buildings seen on East Main Street stand even today. These include the Ross Building (right side of the photo, just across the bridge), and the Dexter Hotel (the taller building in the background.) (From an old post card, anonymous author)
