Deutsch: Das Mahnmal „Niemals Vergessen für die Opfer der Gestapo“ am Morzinplatz im 1. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Innere Stadt. Es erinnert an die Zentrale der Gestapo im ehemaligen Hotel Métropole. Das von der Stadt Wien gestiftete Mahnmal wurde vom technischen Leiter der Städtischen Steinmetzwerkstätte der Stadt Wien Leopold Grausam entworfen und am 1. November 1985 enthüllt. Es ersetzte den am 11. April 1951 rund 50 Meter südlicher aufgestellten Gedenkstein für die Opfer des Faschismus. |
