Description
English: A wooden station building at Woocalla. It was typical of most of the approximately 50 station buildings installed when the Trans-Australian Railway was built in 1917. They were constructed at Port Augusta, South Australia, and transported, assembled, by rail to their locality.

  • The Australian Government's authoritative guide to the Copyright Act 1968 (Short Guide to Copyright, November 2016 – https://www.communications.gov.au/documents/short-guide-copyright – states on page 11 that "The term of copyright protection for photographs taken before 1955, regardless of whether the author has since died or is still alive, has expired". Consistent with this, the custodian of the photograph, the State Library of South Australia, states on the web page for this image (see reference number in image filename) that no known copyright exists.
  • US copyright is not infringed because the photograph was taken before 1 January 1946.
