DescriptionYnys-y-Pandy slate mill from the exit siding - geograph.org.uk - 954842.jpg
English: Ynys-y-Pandy slate mill from the exit siding Slate was taken into the mill via a high-level curved tramway siding, whose retaining wall is at the right, and dressed slate came out at this level via the siding from whose trackbed the shot was taken. The whole layout was much more like that of a textile mill than anything else in the slate industry.
