This image was manually traced from a GIF image file contained in the Alien Technology press kit archive, using AutoCAD 14, then imported to Adobe Illustrator 9, exported as a Scalable Vector Graphic (SVG), and finished in Inkscape 0.47 on Ubuntu Linux. Although an Adobe Illustrator (AI) file was also included in the press kit, it appears to have been a raster image imported via an Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) intermediate file, and was useless for generating a compact, pure-vector SVG image.
The black areas of the image are pure black. The red areas are given in the press kit as Pantone PMS 201, which was converted to the RGB hex value of #B50042 for the purposes of this illustration. —QuicksilverT @ 18:59, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
