I am not supersure but I think there is something wrong about this diagram. The red and green are kind of mixed up and also I think the alpha bit mask should come fourth after the blue one, instead of first. 109.233.64.81 (talk) 18:22, 1 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Then why do the bits that are set in the "RedMask" bitfield correspond to the green field and vice versa? Shouldn't the values of the red and green masks be swapped? (Also, the RedMask has 8 bits set to 1 but the red channel only has 7 bits) —80.174.59.95 (talk) 20:01, 16 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
