The version "13:58, 19 April 2005" correctly illustrates illumination of Earth by Sun at equinox, but the image idealizes earth's Axial tilt to 0°. If the earth is to be used, the axis should appear tilting towards or away from the viewer and only one of the Tropic circles should be drawn with a straight line, all the other circles of latitude should be drawn as curves. -207.189.196.211 (talk) 07:50, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]


On second review, this image could be rendered from the perspective of a viewer whom is not intersecting the orbital plane. But since this similar image appears to be rendered from the orbital plane, so should this file. -207.189.196.211 (talk) 08:24, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
