This map of Europe in 1190 from William Shepherd's Atlas of 1923-26 is incorrect:

1. Map shows: Kingdom of Poland. That is incorrect. The last king of Poland was Bol. II, from 1076-1079. The next time Poland was a kingdom was under Wenceslaus II of Bohemia from 1300-1305. From 1079 to 1300 Poland was not a kingdom and was governed by Dukes (or High Dukes) see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Polish_monarchs

2. This map showing Kingdom of Poland in 1190 includes Pomerania in the north. This is also incorrected.
