The animation needs to show the crab walking on the bottom of the mobius strip every other time it makes a pass.

Animation implies the crab(or any object) would always be on the inside of the loop on the bottom of the pass, and this is not true. It alternates from inner to outer on each consecutive pass.

To fix the animation, every other pass the crab makes should show the crab walking outside(upside down) on the bottom of the strip.
