The person who wrote about this image of Gracie Allen stated that "this photo should date from 1936 to 1950". The first image that was uploaded, a blue CBS document describing the image, says that the image & accompanying description were to be published "Saturday, Dec. 10" without including the year. The only years between 1936 and 1950 in which Dec 10 occurred on a Saturday were the years 1938 and 1949. According to the Burns & Allen radio show wikipedia page, their radio show was broadcasting on CBS during December of both 1938 and 1949.
