The pink outline shows the current city boundary, which is not identical to "Greater Berlin" as defined in the 1920 act. Even though the changes are minor, it is misleading.

The changes that occurred between 1920 and 2010 are:

- 1938 extension in the south western area - 1945 territorial exchange between Soviet zone and British sector in the west - 1972 and 1988: Several territorial exhanges between East Germany and West Berlin, including the removal of all former enclaves - 1990 reunification allowed several corrections of the city boundary on the eastern side and a part-undo of the 1945 exchange

A map used for the "Greater Berlin" pages should show the 1920 status.
