i cant really see what they would use that for.

The RPG-7 can be used to attack reinforcements. I think it's way cheaper, and safer to send a man with an RPG to destroy a building, than sending a multi-million state-of-art Main Battle Tank; see the Abrams article to see what i mean. One last pharaoh (talk) 16:17, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Infantry behind light fortifications, including sandbags or civilian structures, as well as technicals. Those threats could emerge at virtually any moment. It's not necessarily the case that a tank couldn't be used or would be in serious danger—it's probably more due to the fact that it's not likely to be there at the moment it's needed. Both the RPG-7 launcher itself and its ammunition are light and portable—perfect for a foot patrol. 68.14.133.151 (talk) 07:28, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Careful mate. Dum americans on apache heli might take you for an insurgent. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.142.197.91 (talk) 23:10, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
