Update needed[edit]

The map needs revision to show the current configuration of the district, especially in view of the special election this fall to fill the vacancy occasioned by incumbent Rodney Alexander's resignation. Among other variations, a quite visible one is that the district now includes a swath across the Florida Parishes via West Feliciana, East Feliciana, and Saint Helena through the north end of Tangipahoa to Washington Parish.
