Mandeville (who most likely wasn't a real person) didn't "draw" this woodcut; and it isn't from the 14th century. Unfortunately, I don't know the source (I stumbled upon the wiki Cotton page while trying to track down the source for this image, which as far as I can tell is original to an 1839 imaginative "reproduction" or some earlier illuminations); but it probably shouldn't be included with the misinformation as-is.
